How the Compact Airswept Sieve™ works
The Airswept Sieve incorporates Compact Sieve technology with pneumatic powder conveying. A vacuum is applied through the vibrating mesh of the sieve and draws a continuous fluidized stream of powder onto and through the mesh. Oversized contamination remains on top of the mesh and can be either removed continuously via an oversize outlet or manually at the end of a batch.
Suction for the system is provided by a positive displacement vacuum pump. Input may be from a hopper, silo or direct from drums or sacks through a suction wand. The vacuum system is sized to move powdered materials considerable distances dependant on individual plant requirements, giving greater flexibility to plant layout.
